Asahidake Onsen
An exquisite resting place to relieve the fatigue of mountain climbing
Daisetsuzan Mountain, which towers over central Hokkaido, is also known as the roof of Hokkaido, and is a hot spring resort located at the foot of Mt. Asahidake, the highest peak in Hokkaido at an altitude of 2,291 meters.
It was discovered and opened at the beginning of the Taisho era, and was once called “Yukomanbetsu Onsen”.
The spring quality contains a lot of metasilicic acid, which is said to be an effective ingredient for moisturizing the skin, and can be expected not only for fatigue recovery but also for beauty.
Asahidake Onsen is dotted with resort hotels, unique lodges, and mountain hut-style inns with a nostalgic atmosphere, allowing you to spend a relaxing and special time in nature.
There are many facilities where you can take a day trip, and many people who have enjoyed mountain climbing, hiking, skiing, etc. visit this place.
