Asahikawa International Country Club
Looking at the Daisetsuzan mountain range and overlooking the Ishikari River. 18 holes where wide fairways and forest beauty harmonize
Asahikawa International Country Club (Shunshinai Course) is a course that develops in the hills of Aibetsu Town, in the middle of National Route 39 connecting Asahikawa and Sounkyo. From the course, you can see the Daisetsuzan mountain range, the “roof of Hokkaido”, and the magnificent location with a clear view of the Ishikari River below. The design was by Kokichi Yasuda. Based on the wide fairways typical of Hokkaido, the halls are skillfully separated by trees, creating both a sense of openness and tension in the forest. Even if it looks fair, the key to score making is to hit the spot, lie, and undulated green strategy.
The entire course area (Mt. Renna) is designated as a no-hunting reserve, and it is also characterized by the fact that you can play in the rich nature throughout the four seasons. Access is good from the Asahikawa area, and you can comfortably round around with a passenger cart.
