Pippu Town
Strawberries in summer and skiing in winter. A lush rural landscape that blends into the Daisetsuzan mountain range.
As a ski and strawberry town, Hifu Town is an experiential tourist destination with strawberry picking in early summer and a ski resort in winter, and is also the birthplace of Hokkaido’s brand rice “Yumepirika” in agriculture, which is a key industry.
It is a key point for wide-area transportation, with two national highways running through it and a highway, and the view of the Daisetsuzan mountain range is beautiful, and the green rural residential area spreads out.
JR Pippu Station, which was once famous for TV commercials, has also been renovated, and Pippu Shrine is in the spotlight as a power spot for matchmaking.
