Born in Sapporo in 1980. Kiiku Meister has experience in nursing care at a facility for the intellectually disabled.

He serves as a mountaineering guide and tree instructor mainly on Daisetsuzan Mountain, such as
“Japan’s Earliest Autumn Leaves: Daisetsuzan Susogahei and Ginsendai to Mt. Akatake” and “Japan’s 100 Famous Mountains: Daisetsuzan Asahidake to Mt. Kurodake and Mt. Tokachi”.
He is an advanced skier who has trained in alpine skiing since he was a boy, and also works as a guide for backcountry skiing.

After graduating from university, snowboarding led him to work in nature such as winter sports.
I met my wife, Mari, around this time. After that, he obtained a national qualification as a rafting guide in New Zealand.
He has experience as a guide on rapids around the world, including Japan and New Zealand, as well as Canada, Zambia, Uganda, and the United States.
My favorite thing is that you can go down the Ishikari River from the company office to your home.

Yuki Otsuka (Nupuri photo)
Born in Noda City, Chiba Prefecture in 1979. In October 2000, he started filming in Daisetsuzan after working at Asahidake Onsen.
During his school days, he devoted himself to track and field relay races and soccer. I moved to Hokkaido because of a vague longing for nature.
He lived and worked at a hot spring inn in Mt. Asahi, the sacred place of XC, and steadily climbed mountains and collected camera gear, and before he knew it, he became a professional guide.
As a photographer, he has also contributed to mountain magazines such as “Mountains and Valleys” and “Taketo”.
In 2023, he launched the “Higashikawa Nupuri Camera Club” and is also planning photography workshops.

Born in Asahikawa. He has loved the outdoors since he was a child, including camping and fishing, and was attracted to a Canadian canoe he saw at a lakeside campsite during his college days, and taught himself to hone his steering skills.
He became independent as a tour guide in his late 40s. Mainly in heavy snow areas, he coordinates river rafting tours.

During his college days, he belonged to the exploration club and spent his youth traversing mountains, competitive rafting, survival research, and wildlife surveys.
In his 20s, he moved to Hokkaido and was involved in the establishment of a nature experience school.
From 1996 ~ 2009, he belonged to the NPO Neosu in Higashikawa.
Involved in the construction of the nature experience program of Daisetsuzan Nature School.
He has a wide range of experience as a mountaineering guide in Japan and abroad (various parts of Hokkaido, Japan Alps, overseas NZ trekking, etc.).
