Asahikawa Golf Club is a long-established course with a history of being founded in 1956 and opened in 1957. Taking advantage of the woodland and gentle undulations, the 18 holes have a total distance of 6,016 yards (BACK) / 5,723 yards (REG) and a tough setting of 70 PARs, where accurate tee shots and management make or break the score. It is a club supervised by Ryugasaki Country Club and has a solid golf culture under the guidance of head professional Eizo Igawa. The forest layout takes advantage of the gentle undulations, and the key to score making is to read the wind and identify the drops, so beginners as well as advanced players can enjoy the strategy. Each hall surrounded by trees changes its appearance with the four seasons, and is also attractive for its cool summer and beautiful autumn leaves in autumn. You can comfortably play a round with a passenger cart, and there are practice facilities and a clubhouse restaurant, so it is convenient for competitions and “little rounds” after work.
